The Happenings at Creative

During the month of June and into July, we had the pleasure of working with Xerox, a printing and supply company, to buy and have new equipment installed. Andrea, the Xerox rep we worked closely with, gave a lot of insightful information on our 2 new Iridess Production Presses.

What is an Iridess Production Press? We are glad you asked!

An Iridess Production Press is a 4 cmyk press that has 120 IPM, more substrates, synthetics, polys, never-tear, Teslin, Linen, Silks, Kraft Stocks (rough and textured). It has best in class image quality, consistent repeatable, reliable color, and extra-long sheet printing up to 47”! Check it out below!

With these production presses we are now able to print brochures, mailers, business cards, catalogs, booklets, labels postcards, envelopes, door hangers, invitations, etc. at a faster pace, with larger quantities and clearer images!

Behind the Scenes: Farmer's Brewery

Farmer's Brewery started as a farm in 1802 has now turned into a fast growing, 100 % family owned craft brewery in Princeton, Ca. They have four main beers available that include an IPA, Lager, Ale, and a Mexican Lager. You can find these delicious beers at various markets and popular restaurants in Chico, Durham, Paradise, Magalia, Orland, and Oroville.

 

Garth Archibald, Sales and Marketing Manager at Farmer's Brewery, reached out to Robert Rounsaville, our lead Sales and Marketing person, to come up with a unique end cap display that can be seen atop grocery store isles. With creative minds alike, they produced this display box made out of Falcon Board. The display box is 48 " x 15.5 " in length and 24" x 15.5" in width.

 

The same way their superior beer is helping them stand out among other craft breweries, Creative Composition is helping them stand out in the beer section at supermarkets and liquor stores.

The Happenings at Creative

We're expanding! In May we welcomed 3 brand new and eager employees to our team.

The first to join the team was Glenn (not pictured). Glenn is our Production Manager on the floor. He has many years of experience and is a key member of our team.

Next up was Michelle (left) our brand new bindery assistant, shipping expert, and digital printer. Her hardwork and strong attention detail are what make her so valuable.

We also welcomed Zephry (right), our newest employee in signage. He is very excited to be apart of the signage department as that is what he majored in.

And lastly, weclome Daelyn (bottom)! She is our newest marketing coordinator. Make sure to say hi to the new guys next time you're in!

Creative Spotlight: Chico Marketplace

Chico Marketplace has a long standing history in Northern California. While being closed for quarantine and having a few renovations done, one thing remains true - they have an amazing selection of stores and an amazing facility.

Chico Marketplace has done business with Creative for almost 6 years. We have done various types of signage for them over the years so we were excited when they came to us to do a mural! In the picture below you will see Lynette Myers (front), Marketing Manager, Todd Warner (back left), Operations Manager, Sarah Nelson (right) , Administrative Assistant and Natasha Shelton (not pictured), Sr. General Manager who make up the amazing team that keeps Chico Marketplace thriving!

The idea for the mural developed when Chico Marketplace began refurbishment of their popular children's play area. They decided to highlight the icons of Chico and reached out to Creative to collaborate on the project. In the mural, you will see a time line of how Chico began. Starting with the Sierra Nevada Mountains, a trail leads down to John and Annie Bidwell and the Bidwell Mansion to the One Mile Bridge and loops under a Hooker Oak Tree and ends with the Honey Run Covered Bridge, a monumental piece of history in Butte County!

Chico Marketplace is excited to announce that they have new stores coming to Chico! Planet Fitness and H&M will be opening 2020 and HomeGoods will being opening 2021. More stores are to be announced!
