The Happenings at Creative

We're expanding! In May we welcomed 3 brand new and eager employees to our team.

The first to join the team was Glenn (not pictured). Glenn is our Production Manager on the floor. He has many years of experience and is a key member of our team.

Next up was Michelle (left) our brand new bindery assistant, shipping expert, and digital printer. Her hardwork and strong attention detail are what make her so valuable.

We also welcomed Zephry (right), our newest employee in signage. He is very excited to be apart of the signage department as that is what he majored in.

And lastly, weclome Daelyn (bottom)! She is our newest marketing coordinator. Make sure to say hi to the new guys next time you're in!

Creative Spotlight: Chico Marketplace

Chico Marketplace has a long standing history in Northern California. While being closed for quarantine and having a few renovations done, one thing remains true - they have an amazing selection of stores and an amazing facility.

Chico Marketplace has done business with Creative for almost 6 years. We have done various types of signage for them over the years so we were excited when they came to us to do a mural! In the picture below you will see Lynette Myers (front), Marketing Manager, Todd Warner (back left), Operations Manager, Sarah Nelson (right) , Administrative Assistant and Natasha Shelton (not pictured), Sr. General Manager who make up the amazing team that keeps Chico Marketplace thriving!

The idea for the mural developed when Chico Marketplace began refurbishment of their popular children's play area. They decided to highlight the icons of Chico and reached out to Creative to collaborate on the project. In the mural, you will see a time line of how Chico began. Starting with the Sierra Nevada Mountains, a trail leads down to John and Annie Bidwell and the Bidwell Mansion to the One Mile Bridge and loops under a Hooker Oak Tree and ends with the Honey Run Covered Bridge, a monumental piece of history in Butte County!

Chico Marketplace is excited to announce that they have new stores coming to Chico! Planet Fitness and H&M will be opening 2020 and HomeGoods will being opening 2021. More stores are to be announced!

To ease the process, we are now making COVID -19 safety-related graphics! Whether you are in search of floor graphics or graphics to stick onto a wall or door, we are able to help. These graphics are printed on 3M 212 carpet vinyl making them easy to use on linoleum, carpet, and tile. 212 Carpet Vinyl is a high-performance acrylic and pressure-sensitive adhesive. Partnering with Graphic Design

Graphic Design is a major part of creating a prosperous business. To create a successful aesthetic appeal; a captivating logo, advertisement, social media, and packaging design are necessary.

The first step in creating an efficacious company is partnering with the right graphic design team. You will want to find a team or person that can creatively design your company’s visual appeal to its customers.

Let’s Break Down the Importance of Graphic Design.

Did you know that 90% of the information transmitted in the human brain is visual? This means your business needs to use visuals that will grasp its audience and communicate a purpose. Having strong graphics can instantly communicate a message, feeling, emotion, and value. Spend time and resources on creating an aesthetically pleasing visual to create a name for your business.

Custom Logo

A graphic design team can help choose the correct color pallet for your logo that will capture your audience’s attention. Thoroughly looking into marketing trends in your industry and understanding what colors your consumer will respond to can make all the difference.

Advertising

An expertly crafted product is essential to running a successful business. A poorly done design could possibly become overlooked. Talk to your graphic design team; with their knowledge and capability, they will be able to help boost your brand’s essence.

Social Media

Using graphic design will allow you to establish a consistent brand footprint across all social media platforms. Branding your own graphics with the help of a graphic design team captures the interest of your consumers by recognition. This concludes that customers will be more inclined to follow you across all social media platforms due to their familiarity with your brand.

Packaging Design

The appeal of a label or package is made possible through the expertise of a graphic design team. Any product that your company is launching needs to be designed to target your consumer’s aesthetic, taste, wants, and needs. Convince your consumers that they are missing out if they leave your store without a product.

The Happenings at Creative

For a small business like Creative Composition Inc, team building doesn’t have to be a complicated endeavor. Our company generally has a small team, so building intimacy and bonds between employees and management can be as simple as lunch.

Creative did that! In March we planned a wonderful potluck for our Creative employees! In honor of St. Patricks Day we had a themed luncheon to celebrate the upcoming holiday. This event took place before the lockdown and it was a nice way to connect with all the employees before we had to social distance.

The day of the potluck our Creative employees cooked up an array of delicious meals from pizza, mac & cheese, beef & broccoli, meatballs and many more. To top it, off we also had St. Patricks themed desserts!

Adding to the fun Chelsea (Marketing Coordinator) incorporated a fun contest for our employees "How Many Candies Are in That Jar." The big winner of the day was Justin Hendry with a guess of 186 beating out his dad Steve Hendry by 1 number. The winning number was 178, way to go Justin!

Congratulations to our winner and a big thank you to all our participants aka Creative employees it was definitely a day to remember!
